Who we are
Manager's HR Navigator is operated by [Your business name] ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: [contact email].
What we collect and why
- Account data — your email address and encrypted password, to create and secure your account (contract).
- Subscription data — your subscription status, trial and renewal dates, and a Stripe customer reference, to provide paid access (contract). Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Content you save — checklist progress, letter drafts, AI-register runs, and case references you enter, to provide the product's save functionality (contract). The product is designed for employee references or initials only — see the guidance below.
- Technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, request time) kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and reliability (legitimate interests).
We do not use advertising trackers or sell data. We do not use cookies beyond those strictly necessary for signing you in.
Where your data lives
Your account and saved content are stored with Supabase in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1). Payments are processed by Stripe. The website is served by Vercel. Each processes data under GDPR-compliant data-processing agreements; where any transfer outside the EEA occurs (for example, in Stripe's or Vercel's global infrastructure), it is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Important: data about your employees and candidates
You, the subscriber, are the data controller for any information you enter about your own staff or job candidates. The product is deliberately designed to minimise this: trackers ask for initials or a reference, not names, and warn against entering personal data. Please read our candidate & employee data guidance.
How long we keep data
- Account and saved content — for as long as your account exists.
- On account deletion — your saved content is deleted from our database. Backups age out on our provider's standard cycle (up to 30 days).
- Billing records — retained as required by tax law (typically 6 years), held by Stripe and in our accounting records.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; restriction or objection to processing; and portability. Contact [contact email] and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will notify account holders by email. The current version always lives at this address.
